Biography

Rie Sanchez is a beautiful, charming, talented vocalist whose musical career is taking off like a solid fuel rocket. Although Rie possess beauty on par with many of the highest paid fashion models, and exudes the tempered confidence of a well-disciplined aristocrat, one would likely never guess that she is a survivor of relentless bullying. Bullying perpetrated by her classmates and so-called friends, beginning in junior high school.Throughout her tender adolescent years Rie was subjected to extreme ridicule and teasing to such a degree that she became convinced that she was hideous and worthless. She even reached the point where concluded that suicide was a viable option rather living with the pain and humiliation she suffered.
Through the intervention of her family and a dedicated, inspired teacher, Rie Sanchez overcame the debilitating emotional and physiological effects of intense bullying. She has risen to become the poised, vibrant person she is today.
Rie believes that there are some people who are just heartless and cruel. She also feels that many bullies are the product of their own lack of self-esteem and attempt to alleviate their own pain by transferring it to others. Through her music and personal story, Rie'saim is to deliver a message of love, acceptance and ultimately hope to the victims of bullies as well as the actual bullies themselves.

Her forth coming single and video "Let it Go, Love Will Free Your Soul" is the collaborative work of Rie Sanchez and Award Winning songwriter Cindy Hughlett. It is the musical embodiment of Rie's philosophy toward dealing with bullies and sends the message, loud and clear, that everyone is important and love will set the captive free.

THAT EMPTY CHAIR
The Holiday season is a time of great joy. It is a time when loved ones gather together to reflect, reminisce and celebrate. However, for those us who have lost loved ones, it can be a time of sadness and loneliness. When trying to cope with the loss of a loved one due to death, illness, separation, or circumstances, holidays can be difficult, especially when we first sense that "empty chair". This song, performed by Rie Sanchez, and written by Grammy nominated and award winning producer, Mark L. Carman, captures the essence of that time of reflection and suggests that next year we will all come together and remember once more those who are missing from our special gathering and “the love that’s still That Empty Chair”
